The Kentucky Dressage Association hosts multiple recognized and schooling shows each year for our members and dressage competitors in the region. KDA recognized shows offer all levels along with Jr/Yr, Young Horse and Developing Horse classes at the Kentucky Horse Park. The
schooling shows offer traditional dressage classes plus western dressage classes and are a great place for competitors to gain experience in the show ring. At the KDA May Shows there is additional prize money offered to our members and full details are in the prize list.
USDF PM Member
KDA members become a PM member of USDF, receive the bi-monthly USDF Connection magazine and all other benefits the PM membership includes.
Grants and Scholarships
Each year KDA presents a total of five grants to our Junior, Adult Amateur and Open members to assist in their dressage training. KDA also offers a college scholarship and a $5,000 Junior
Young Rider Grant to help a junior member striving to improve and show in the Jr/Yr competitions.

The KDA Year-End Awards Banquet each year showcases the achievement of our members in the show ring and breed shows. Special awards are also presented to volunteers, the Presidents Award, goes to the top scoring member at our May Shows, top Vintage Riders are recognized, and The Repunzal Perpetual Trophy is presented to the highest scoring mare, high scoring breed show winner and recognition to the highest scoring pony all during a fun social
